Background
Nyanners first experimented with voice acting and singing on 4chan boards. Her early work included satirical readings of hentai panels. Her name comes from nyannyanoxo, an ironic anime fan username she used when joining a raid on a Naruto fan wiki chat room. She created her pink-haired catgirl character on May 13, 2012, and finalized the design in 2014. She moved from YouTube to Twitch in 2015. Fan art from this period led to Nyan Nyanners, a voice synthesis bank built from her singing voice.
