Pomu Rainpuff (ぽむ れいんぱふ) was a female English-language Virtual YouTuber affiliated with NIJISANJI EN's first wave "LazuLight", alongside Elira Pendora and Finana Ryugu. She debuted on May 16, 2021 and graduated on January 20, 2024. She was the first liver to graduate from NIJISANJI EN 1st wave LazuLight.

Pomu was a hardcore otaku who became very passionate when discussing her favorite topics, such as maid cafes or her favorite idols. Her favorite anime included Re:Zero, Steins;Gate, When They Cry, Gakkou Garashi, Yuru camp, The idolmaster and Bunny Girl senpai. She enjoyed rhythm games, puzzle games, RPG, horror games, Touhou, FPS and visual novels.

Her first gaming stream was of Tetris, and she also played The Legend of Zelda, APEX Legends, Layers of Fear, Genshin Impact and Minecraft. She was known for her Metal Gear brainrot and purchased a Metal Gear Solid 3 pachislot machine for $1500.

Pomu debuted as part of LazuLight alongside Elira and Finana on May 16, 2021, making them the first VTuber wave of Nijisanji English. The unit was known for their original songs "Diamond City Lights" and "Light Me Up."

Characteristics

According to her lore, she comes from Virtual Neverland and decided to become a VTuber to restore belief in fairies and achieve world domination. She was described as a fairy who lived in a lush forest, supple like a flower in the breeze, cheerful and optimistic.

Pomu was friendly, cheerful, and mischievous. Her streams were known for fun, silly antics such as wotagei mix chants or spontaneous roleplaying. Sometimes described as a "chaos fairy", she enjoyed messing with her chat and finding ways to catch them off guard.

At the end of her final stream, she had 640,000 YouTube subscribers. Pomu signed off with a tweet encouraging fans "I hope you'll always remember to be passionate about what you love!" and "BE THE BEST POMU YOU CAN BE!!!"
