Career
Nijisanji held its first auditions for English-speaking countries in December 2020. On May 16, 2021, NIJISANJI EN debuted its first wave, LazuLight, which had three female members: Pomu Rainpuff, Elira Pendora, and Finana Ryugu. Two Nijisanji ID members, Hana Macchia and Bonnivier Pranaja, hosted a live commentary stream for the debut on the agency's English channel. Her YouTube channel had already published content in April 2021, ahead of the group's debut. NIJISANJI EN went on to add further waves, beginning with OBSYDIA in July 2021 and Ethyria in October 2021.
Pomu remained active with NIJISANJI EN for more than two and a half years. She received a 3D model as well as her original Live2D model, and she had a second costume in addition to her debut outfit. On January 5, 2024, the official NIJISANJI EN account on X announced that she would graduate on January 20, 2024. Her merchandise stayed on sale until February 2024, and her past videos and clips were kept online after she graduated. She was the first LazuLight member to graduate.
Activities
Streaming style
Her streams covered gaming, free talk, drawing, and singing. Sources describe her as a committed otaku who became very enthusiastic about topics such as maid cafes and idols. Her streams were known for silly bits, including wotagei mix chants and improvised roleplay. She liked to tease her chat and catch viewers off guard. She also made a point of thanking her audience and tried to keep the quality of her streams high. Her debut stream listed her favorite anime, including Re:Zero, Steins;Gate, When They Cry, Gakkou Gurashi, Yuru Camp, The Idolmaster, and Bunny Girl Senpai.
Characteristics
Her official profile describes her as a fairy who lived in a lush forest, "supple like a flower in the breeze," cheerful and optimistic. According to her introduction video, she came from Virtual Neverland and belonged to the Rainpuff clan, a powerful family of fairies. Because people had stopped believing in fairies, she was losing her magic and had to work as an office lady. While searching the internet for a way to restore belief in fairies, she discovered anime and VTubers. She then decided to become a VTuber herself, with the stated goal of becoming the world's strongest fairy and achieving world domination. In her lore she lives in a treehouse. Her character has long blonde hair, red and brown eyes, pointed ears, and fairy wings.
Her Japanese name is written in hiragana rather than katakana because she found it cuter. Besides English, she speaks some Japanese, having briefly attended high school in Japan, and she studied the language to talk with Japanese viewers and Livers. She named Tsukino Mito as her favorite Nijisanji Liver and Pikamee as her favorite VTuber overall. She has a pet cat, which she voiced with a British accent on stream.
