The three are known together as 3SetBBQ. Her channel passed 10,000 subscribers on 26 September 2019 and 20,000 on 17 October 2019.

On 5 March 2021 she held a stream to show her updated "2.0" model, which she described as feeling like a second debut. On 16 May 2021 she co-hosted a special commentary program with Bonnivier Pranaja for the debut of LazuLight, the first wave of NIJISANJI EN. The broadcast ran on NIJISANJI's English channel, and the two hosts commented on each member's debut stream and the group's new song.

On 15 April 2022, NIJISANJI ID merged into the main NIJISANJI branch, and Hana Macchia has since been officially affiliated with NIJISANJI. Members of the former branch are sometimes called "Ex-IDs." In August 2022 it was announced that she would make her first appearance with a 3D model at NijiFes 2022. She appeared in a segment with Pomu Rainpuff, Elira Pendora and Finana Ryugu. In January 2023 she was among 30 Livers from the former ID and KR branches, along with several Japanese members, who were added to the Welcome Goods line at the NIJISANJI Official Shop. Her own 3D debut took place on 30 April 2023.

Streaming style

Her content covers gaming, free talk, drawing and singing. Her channel description says she enjoys many game genres, especially first-person shooters and roguelites, and strongly dislikes horror. She usually streams around dusk or late at night, partly to keep viewers company while they work toward deadlines. Her first streamed game was Doki Doki Literature Club. She has also played Minecraft, Getting Over It, Apex Legends, Cuphead, DOOM, Mahjong Soul, Valheim, League of Legends and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown, among others. Her free talk streams focus on chatting with viewers, and she has also run streams teaching English.

She often collaborates with other NIJISANJI Livers. Examples include Minecraft streams with Taka Radjiman and ZEA Cornelia, Getting Over It streams with Bonnivier Pranaja, Valheim sessions with Rai Galilei, and Apex Legends with Kureiji Ollie. During one of her DOOM streams, Mick Gordon, the composer of the game's soundtrack, appeared in her chat, and she responded on stream.

Music and works

She regularly holds karaoke and a cappella streams.
Her first song cover was "Say It" by Yorushika.
She records cover songs on her own and with other NIJISANJI Livers.

Characteristics

Her official profile describes her as a design major who debuted to create a space where people can feel comfortable, entertained and not alone. Her character design has medium-length brown hair, blue eyes and a flower hairpin, with a reddish blazer and a teal and light-yellow patterned neck scarf. Her personality is described as kind, quick to smile and curious, with a willingness to try new things. In one Minecraft collaboration she kept trying to copy Taka Radjiman's trick of bathing in lava without dying, until he stopped her. She often brings her art skills into her streams. Her coffee-cup emoji, used in her social media profile, is part of her online identity.
