Vox Akuma (ヴォックス・アクマ) is a male English-language Virtual YouTuber affiliated with NIJISANJI EN's fourth wave "Luxiem," alongside Luca Kaneshiro, Shu Yamino, Ike Eveland, and Mysta Rias. He is the first NIJISANJI EN Liver to reach 1 million subscribers on YouTube. Vox livestreamed his debut on December 20, 2021, after uploading two shorts.

On July 24, 2022, NIJISANJI EN, an English-speaking VTuber group owned by AnyColor Inc., announced its talent "Vox Akuma" reached 1 million subscribers on his YouTube channel! Vox Akuma had made history by hitting the million mark just seven months after his debut in December 2021. Vox Akuma is the first NIJISANJI EN member who has achieved this feat.

Vox Akuma primarily creates gaming content, variety streams, and singing performances. His favorites games include From Software, Runescape, Death Stranding, Omori, Five Nights at Freddy's and Super Smash Bros. He likes cooking, voiceovers and arthouse films, but dislikes fishy food and The Lorax.

Though Vox can be as mysterious and suave as his profile describes, he also has a sillier side that likes making crass jokes and doing impressions of characters/people, some of which being Gordon Ramsay, Walter White, Mario, and, to some degree, Wilson and Vanta. Vox is prone to fanboy over things like FNAF, monkeys, and Runescape. He is also known for his hatred for the 2012 film, The Lorax.

He seems to be quite a good cook, enjoying fancier, gourmet dishes. Despite how silly he often is, however, Vox can be wise and uses the knowledge he's accumulated over the years to give good life advice and support.

Background Lore

A Demon from the past who held great power. Though confident in his superhuman abilities, he looks after those who are loyal to him. He used to rule the Akuma clan suring the Sengoku period (1614-) and resided in Akuma castle, which was on Honshu peak. He had a reputation of killing traitors directly, and it was rumoured that if you spoke to him directly, warmth and comfort would never leave you.

Vox survived a defeat at the hands of Ieyasu Tokugawa after the Akuma militia went to war with the Tokugawa army and lost. All 522 members of his clan were massacred, but Vox survived as he had demonic blood.

Vox is a demon with the power to influence and control others through his voice. "Vox Akuma" is a combination of Latin and Japanese and is a calque of his species as the "voice demon."
