Career

Before joining NIJISANJI, Yagyu Shino was a student in the fifth batch of VIRTUAL TALENT ACADEMY (VTA), where she was active under the name Shino. In August 2025 she debuted as a NIJISANJI liver alongside Togawa Nonoha, Kadou Mikaru and Nekoyashiki Miku. The four debuted together as the girl band unit officially named "Tonight, I Dream with ××" (Japanese title above), which is usually shortened to Yoi Yume. In the band, Togawa Nonoha plays drums, Kadou Mikaru plays guitar, Nekoyashiki Miku plays keyboard, and Shino plays bass. The unit has its own official YouTube channel and X account in addition to the members' personal channels.

Her first stream was titled with the phrase that she was "ready to be eaten," a reference to the food theme that runs through her character. Through late 2025 and early 2026 she took part in group projects within NIJISANJI and grew closer to other members through activities on a shared server for female talents.

Streaming style

Food is the main theme of her channel. Her "Shino-meshi" series of food reviews and eating streams is a central part of her content, and her plain, honest reactions to the meals she tries are often noted as part of her appeal. Her channel describes her as someone who eats well, sleeps well and then eats some more, and says she hopes to bring viewers a happy, tasty time. She also has dedicated hashtags for her meals and clips besides her stream and fan-art tags.

She also streams games, including long endurance sessions. Over the 2025 year-end holidays she held an endurance stream to clear Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, reaching the ending at around 1:55 a.m. on January 3, 2026, after playing almost all day except to sleep and eat. She then went on to play Donkey Kong Country. In a Minecraft project set in a fictional girls' academy, she accidentally set a warehouse on fire while handling magma. She has named Pokémon among her favorite games.

Characteristics

According to her official character profile, Yagyu Shino is a girl with a big appetite born into a family of ushi-oni (ox demons). She is listed as 777 years old. She is laid-back and often forgets what she was sent to buy on family errands, and she dreams of one day becoming a "career woman." Her design uses a cow motif, with cow ears, a cow tail and a single ear tag on her left ear. She has long black hair with purple streaks, a single side braid, bangs that cover her right eye, purple eyes and a mole under her left eye. Her main image color is #BD81D4 and her secondary color is #F0BBC6.

Her listed favorite foods include white rice, ramen, seafood, dumplings, gelato, milk bread, potatoes, rice balls and peaches, as well as what she calls unhealthy foods. Her channel guidelines ask viewers not to bring up her name in other streamers' chats unprompted, and not to post spoilers, backseat instructions or harsh comments, so that her community stays a warm place.
