Ashelia Rinkou (鈴香アシェリア), better known simply as Lia, is an English-speaking Virtual YouTuber affiliated with Phase-Connect. She is a founding member of Phase-Connect, debuting as part of its first generation alongside Pipkin Pippa, Tenma Maemi, Fujikura Uruka, Hakushika Iori, Shisui Michiru and Utatane Nasa.

Character and Personality

In her lore, Lia was formerly a special agent in Phase World who became a digital entity when her consciousness was uploaded to the Phase Network. She is characterized as a "clumsy" former special agent from another world who is cheerful, clueless, and laid back - a little too laid back to be a wanted criminal on the run.

On the surface, Lia can be described as a high energy denpa imouto. However, underneath that surface is a very introspective streamer who, at her core, just wants to make her company proud and do her best to keep her viewers entertained.

Lia is known for her signature chaos zatsudan, and she has an intangible quality to her that cannot really be explained. Her streams are extremely chat interactive, and have often been described by viewers as having an electric energy to them.

Character Development

In June 2022, Lia underwent a character redesign, introducing a new model, hairstyle, and outfit. This coincided with a lore event where Rinkou Ashelia was killed in an explosion and replaced with her new model, the Ridiculously Human Robot Girl Lia.
