Rin Penrose is an independent female English-speaking Virtual YouTuber. Rin Penrose is a female British VTuber who debuted on the 20th of November 2022. She debuted as member of idol-EN first generation "E-Sekai," alongside Yuko Yurei, Juna Unagi, Pochi Wanmaru, and Fuyo Cloverfield. On 15 November, Rin held her final stream as an idol agency VTuber and As of November 15 2024, she has become an independent Vtuber.

Characteristics

Rin is the self-proclaimed prince ("Not princess!") of a kingdom in another world. Though she tries to maintain a "proper" demeanor befitting her royal heritage, her true, unfathomable personality always shines through. Rin is a mature person for whom elegance (but also money) matters a lot.

She is regularly taken as a clown by everyone else, even her genmates, due to both her behavior and her strong British accent. Moreover, high speech speed is a trait put in relief in her YouTube shorts. Rin thinks coffee is "the devil's juice".

Independence

Rin's exit from idol was an option she took after the agency got absorbed into the Brave group umbrella July this year. On August 8th, 2024, Rin announced that she will leave idol Corp and go independent sometime in November 2024 (date TBD) (a day to be dubbed "Rindependence Day"), retaining her IP under a one-year revenue-sharing arrangement.
