Career
Yuhi Riri joined NIJISANJI in its second generation in 2018. The other members of that generation were Ienaga Mugi, Mononobe Alice, Kenmochi Toya, Morinaka Kazaki, Fushimi Gaku, Gilzaren III, Suzuka Utako, Fumino Tamaki and Ushimi Ichigo. In her backstory she lived in a "virtual overseas" location, so it took longer for the agency to send her a smartphone for streaming. As a result, she began streaming in March 2018, later than the other members of her generation, and she gave the last debut stream of the group. Her debut broadcast ran for about nine hours.
Her official profile describes her as a 16-year-old first-year high school student and an energetic girl who streams from the distant future. According to the profile, she loves mischief and often causes trouble, and she started streaming by hijacking present-day radio waves as one of her pranks. Her design comes from the illustrator Nezumidosi, who also designed several first-generation NIJISANJI members. ORiHiRA later designed an additional outfit for her. She has also appeared in 3D.
Over the years she has taken part in many collaborations inside and outside the agency. On 18 June 2022 she was one of 12 participants in Debidebi Debiru's "First Online Argument Battle". On 24 August 2024 she competed with Inami Rai in Season 6 of the Apex Legends VTuber Most Cooperative Tournament. She has also played in NIJISANJI's internal Overwatch events.
Activities
Streaming style
She mostly streams games, singing and chat. She often collaborates with other VTubers and holds multiplayer sessions with her viewers. She regularly works with her generation-mates Fushimi Gaku and Kenmochi Toya as the trio Trigger. When Ienaga Mugi joins them, the group goes by "Happy Trigger." Her streams open with the greeting "Konriri" and close with "Otsuriri." She has also used a male alter ego named Tobari.
Music and works
- "Ai no Sonzai Shomei", performed as ERRors with Elu and Ryushen, on the NIJISANJI compilation album "Nijisanji Music MIX UP!!" (27 November 2019)
- Cover of "and i'm home" with Ienaga Mugi
Characteristics
Fans often call her "Miraijin" ("person from the future"), and she uses that word to describe herself on her official X account. Her profile lists churros, sushi, whiskey and coffee among her favorite things, and she has said she likes orcas. She is described as a capable performer with a low threshold for laughter who often breaks into laughter at viewer comments. She is also known for her strong attachment to the other second-generation members and sometimes posts on social media while they are streaming. Her singing is a central part of her activities.
