Career

Suo Sango's YouTube channel was created on 30 July 2020, and her Twitter (now X) account was opened in August 2020. She made her first stream on 9 August 2020 as a member of NIJISANJI's "Selene Girls' Academy Drama Club" group, which also included Asahina Akane, Todo Kohaku, Kitakoji Hisui and Nishizono Chigusa. Fans often call the group by a shortened name. After Asahina Akane graduated, four members remained, and they now appear together mainly for special events.

Her channel grew quickly after her debut and passed several early milestones in 2020 and early 2021. In 2022 she received the GRAPHT Award for game streamers. Her collaboration with the Shima Spain Village theme park was reported to have significantly increased the park's ticket and churro sales. From 2023 she has also been a member of the Nanajigen Seitokai (Seventh Dimension Student Council) project. Outside streaming, she voiced the character Padme Saito in the video game Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road.

Characteristics

Her character profile describes her as a first-year junior high school student at the prestigious Selene Girls' Academy and the youngest member of its drama club, with a naturally calming presence that soothes the people around her. She usually speaks in a calm, soft voice, but in keeping with her drama-club background she can shift into a range of voices, including a mature, big-sister tone and a boyish one. She speaks noticeably faster when talking about Sanrio and is fond of cute things. Within the character's background, she is the second of three Suo sisters. Her model has long pink twin-tailed hair with a black headband trimmed in red, a white blazer, and a light coral button-up cardigan. Her symbol color is listed as #EF8468. Although her name is read "Suou Sango," the official romanization drops the long vowel.
