After her debut she held a chat stream and then streamed a lot of Apex Legends.

In February 2022 she won the second Crazy Raccoon Cup in VALORANT. Later in 2022 she took part in "VSPO! In December 2023 she won "Beginners League of Legends The k4sen #1" on a team that included Hanabusa Lisa. Her more recent tournament results include second place at Crazy Raccoon Cup #9 in VALORANT and an appearance in VALORANT at Vtuber Saikyo Act 2.

Streaming style

Her streams are mostly gaming, along with talk streams. Games she has played on stream include Apex Legends, VALORANT, Splatoon 2, Splatoon 3, Minecraft, Dead by Daylight, Pokemon Shining Pearl, ARK, Super Bunny Man and Call of Duty. Her profile says she loses track of time when gaming, which leads to some of the longest streams on the VSPO! roster. She has reached Master rank in Apex Legends, making her one of the agency's stronger Apex players. She is also considered VSPO!'s strongest Splatoon player, and VTubers outside the agency have recognized her skill. She played Splatoon as her main game before taking up Apex. Her most-viewed video is a Splatoon 3 stream.

She often collaborates with fellow VSPO! members such as Kaga Nazuna, Tachibana Hinano, Kaminari Qpi and Kisaragi Ren. She has also streamed Apex Legends with Makaino Ririmu. Fans call her pairing with Kisaragi Ren "RenRuna"; the two mostly play Splatoon together. She also formed the team "Dekaniku" with Kaminari Qpi and Hizaki Gamma for the fifth Vsaikyou tournament.

Characteristics

Shinomiya Runa is described as cheeky and mischievous. She likes to tease others and is often teased back by her senior colleagues. She speaks in a soft, girly voice that can become surprisingly loud. This gave her the image of the agency's typical junior or little sister, even after she became a senior herself. Her design has short light purple hair and eyes with light yellow irises. Her original outfit is an oversized black cardigan over a white sundress, with bandage accents. She shares her character designer with Momosuzu Nene of hololive.

Her favorite things include games, idols and cats, and she enjoys instant cup noodles and sweets. She likes K-pop and Korean dramas, knows a little Korean, and once explained the Korean alphabet during a talk stream. She is good at quick mental arithmetic, a skill she credits to learning the abacus from her grandmother. She was also a fan of the duo OreApo (Kamito and Tachibana Hinano) before her debut.
