Career

Makaino Ririmu debuted on August 2, 2018 as part of the third batch of NIJISANJI Gamers, which was then a separate branch of the NIJISANJI project. Kuzuha, Shiina Yuika and Setsuna debuted in the same batch. Her introduction video presented her as a newly arrived virtual liver from the demon realm.

On December 13, 2018, Ichikara Inc. announced that NIJISANJI Gamers and NIJISANJI SEEDs would merge into NIJISANJI by the end of that month. After the merger, Ririmu became an official member of the main NIJISANJI group. Setsuna graduated on October 30, 2019. After that, the remaining three members of the batch, Kuzuha, Shiina Yuika and Ririmu, became known as "ZuShiRi."

On January 14, 2022, Ririmu announced on Twitter that she would reveal a new outfit the next day as a birthday surprise. The stream ran under the hashtag for her 2022 birthday party. That year she also passed several milestones on her YouTube channel.

Activities

Streaming style

Ririmu's streams are mainly gaming and free talk, with some singing. She has been associated with competitive shooters such as Apex Legends and Valorant. She has also streamed a range of other titles, including narrative games and simulation games. Besides YouTube, she streams on Twitch and TwitCasting. Collaborations with Kuzuha and Shiina Yuika, her former batchmates, are a well-known part of her activities.

Ririmu shares a character designer with Lain Paterson of NIJISANJI and Arurandeisu of Holostars. The three formed a grouping known as "U-Sa-Pi." Fans built the name from an item linked to each member: shark for Lain Paterson, rabbit for Ririmu and pizza for Arurandeisu.
