Nagisa Trout (Japanese: 渚トラウト) is a male Japanese VTuber affiliated with NIJISANJI, the VTuber agency run by ANYCOLOR. He debuted in August 2024 as part of the unit Speciale. He is known for his relaxed, easygoing chef character and for streams built around talking and games.

Career

Nagisa Trout's YouTube channel was created on June 27, 2024, and his account on X (formerly Twitter) was opened in July 2024. On August 13, 2024, ANYCOLOR announced five new NIJISANJI Livers, including him, and he posted his first message on X the same day. The five members formed the unit Speciale: Nanase Suzuna, Saotome Berry, Kirara Tamako, Sakayori Soma and Nagisa Trout. The unit held a relay of debut streams on August 16, 2024, and Nagisa Trout was the last of the five to go live. His first stream was titled "Ciao! Won't you get to know me?"

In 2025 he entered an in-house NIJISANJI competition. He finished first in his preliminary group with 773 points, then placed second in his semifinal group behind Dola with 692 points. In the final he and Dola tied for first place with 720 points each, and the result was decided by rock-paper-scissors. On December 14, 2025, he took part in the NIJISANJI Splatoon festival in the beginner's league. His team, "Bakadare," also included Saotome Berry, Kaburaki Rocco and Kisara. The team placed fourth in the preliminary league to reach the final tournament, then beat the team that had finished first in the league in the semifinal. On March 14, 2026, he played in the Apex Legends event Nijipex 2026 on a team with his fellow Speciale member Saotome Berry.

Activities

Streaming style

His streams are mainly free talk and gaming. He often collaborates with the other members of Speciale. He has a regular collaboration pairing with Saotome Berry, and he and Sakayori Soma have held two-person chat streams together. His participation in in-house tournaments for games such as Splatoon and Apex Legends has also put him on teams with NIJISANJI members outside his debut unit. Kisara is one example; his involvement with her grew in the first half of 2026.

He has been featured in official merchandise lines, including items from the "Haunted School" series, acrylic stands sold for Speciale, and goods connected to NIJISANJI Fes 2025. A Sanrio collaboration item featuring him has also been released.

His official profile describes him as a laid-back young man with a distinctive aura. He likes cooking, but on days when he is not in the mood, he wanders around outside instead. His character is a chef, and he is often given as 25 years old. His avatar has short light-blue hair under a tilted chef's hat and dark blue eyes that fade to light purple. His outfit includes a white long-sleeved shirt and a neckerchief. His fan mark combines a fish with a fork and knife, which fits both his name and his cooking theme.
