Career
Cover Corporation launched HOLOSTARS as its all-male VTuber group in 2019. The first generation debuted from June to October of that year, and a second generation followed in December 2019. In December 2019 Cover also brought hololive, HOLOSTARS and its music label INoNaKa together under the "hololive Production" brand. Kishido Temma debuted on December 14, 2019, with a chatting stream. He was part of the second generation, SunTempo, with Astel Leda and Yukoku Roberu.
He took part in several esports and fan events during his career. On one 24 July, he joined the Apex Legends tournament Cypher Cup Festival on the team "HOLOSTARS" with Astel Leda and Kanade Izuru. The team finished 7th overall and did not reach the Grand Final. He also played in the "Apex Legends VTuber Most Cooperative Tournament Season 3" on the team "ReTIcle." In addition, he appeared at the Holocomi online convention and the Animate Girls Festival. His avatar was updated over time, and on April 14, 2024, he debuted his sixth 2D outfit. He also had a 3D model. Reference sources now describe him as a former HOLOSTARS talent and list him as retired.
Activities
Streaming style
Temma mainly made gaming and music content. He was known for his English: he could read and speak it well enough to hold a conversation. He held streams where he studied English and some streams entirely in English. His language skills led to collaborations with overseas VTubers, including members of hololive Indonesia. He also said he wanted to rap in English, since most of his songs were in Japanese.
In multiplayer games such as Dead by Daylight and Among Us, he often played a "psychopathic" or villainous role. In these games he would laugh while eliminating other players and show no remorse. This earned him the nickname "Dark Knight" among fans and other HOLOSTARS members. Outside of this act, he kept a positive attitude on stream and often encouraged viewers to look after themselves. Unexpected, comedic turns in his streams also earned him the nickname "tensai" (genius).
Characteristics
Temma's character is a knight who was transported to Japan from another world. In his backstory, he tried ramen for the first time after arriving in Japan, and the dish became one of his signature interests. He describes his age as "forever 20." He is described as having a chivalrous personality, along with hobbies and skills such as playing the piano and practicing karate. In his design, he has short, thick dark blonde hair with bangs and light blue eyes. His Live2D model was rigged by several artists, including klaeia, rariemonn, Homuragi Pyro and Nekoshina. His emoji is a hedgehog followed by a dash symbol.
