Music has been a large part of his career. In May 2022, he released an animated music video for his digital single "Toumeina Shinzouga Naiteita." The video was made by Riri Yamashita, and the song came out on major streaming services on May 7, 2022. He has since released more original songs. His seventh single, "Mizu no Kioku," came out digitally with a music video. His original song "Sainouga Naikara Nanda" won first place by viewer vote in an autumn ranking of VTuber original songs held by the music program MuComi VR. He was also announced as a performer at the NIJISANJI 7th Anniversary live "OVERTURE" during NijiFes 2025.

As a member of the NIJISANJI unit ROF-MAO, he has appeared in media outside YouTube. These appearances include a guest spot on NHK FM radio, a headline slot at YouTube Music Weekend 8.0, and a live performance of "Jonetsuteki Boy" on the TV Tokyo program "Oha Sta." He has also appeared on other radio programs.

In 2024, ANYCOLOR filed civil and criminal actions against a person who had harassed Kaida and other NIJISANJI streamers. The harassment included spamming stream comments, impersonating him with his official artwork and threatening in-person events. The person was referred to prosecutors on suspicion of obstruction of business and was later fined. ANYCOLOR then announced a settlement. As one of the settlement conditions, the company published a written interview with the perpetrator.
