Career

FLOW GLOW was first teased on November 6, 2024, on hololive's official X account in a post featuring members of the earlier DEV_IS unit ReGLOSS. The group was set up as a VTuber music group under the hololive DEV_IS branch. Its members are Isaki Riona, Koganei Niko, Mizumiya Su, Rindo Chihaya and Kikirara Vivi. Riona has said she passed her first audition with hololive, and that she had auditioned for various projects from a young age.

Riona debuted on November 9, 2024, making her the first FLOW GLOW member to start streaming. Her YouTube channel passed 100,000 subscribers during the debut stream. On the same day, she released her first solo cover, "Body&Soul" by SPEED. She turned on Super Chat on November 23, 2024. She then enabled channel memberships on December 9, 2024, during her one-month anniversary.

In 2025 her channel kept growing. She reached 200,000 subscribers during an endurance stream in February and 300,000 during an endurance karaoke stream in July. On March 14, 2025, FLOW GLOW released its second original song, "24K GOLD." Later, hololive production merged the hololive and hololive DEV_IS branches, and FLOW GLOW became part of hololive. Her stream titles changed from "hololive DEV_IS" to "hololive FLOW GLOW" or simply "hololive." In 2026 she held an endurance singing stream aimed at 500,000 subscribers. She also streamed solo 3D content.

Activities

Streaming style

Her channel mostly features singing, gaming and free talk. Karaoke streams are a large part of her schedule, including regular singing streams, endurance singing streams for subscriber milestones, and talk-heavy singing streams in vertical format. She also has a regular weekday-lunch stream series on Thursdays at noon, tagged "Lunch with Riona."

Her gaming streams cover a range of titles. She has played anomaly-spotting horror games and gacha games, and has also streamed baseball management games. She has said she is a baseball fan, playing the high-school baseball mode of the Powerful Pro Baseball series. She has also taken part in hololive's in-house high-school baseball event series. Her streams also include 3D content using hololive's motion-capture tools.

Characteristics

In her official profile, Riona is the leader of FLOW GLOW, a very stoic person who hates losing. She keeps a poker face so that others will not look down on her, but she softens around small animals and spoils them. She is also described as a big fan of shonen manga, which makes her more passionate than her calm, cool image suggests. Her official motto, as given on hololive's FLOW GLOW page, translates to doing what she likes and living how she wants. The official unit description says the FLOW GLOW members' skills are still unpolished and their trust in each other is not yet complete, but they acknowledge each other's traits.
