Career

Igarashi Rika's YouTube channel was created on October 24, 2022, and her X (formerly Twitter) account was opened in January 2023. She has said she decided to become a NIJISANJI talent, which the agency calls a "Liver," after finding NIJISANJI through an online video. On January 16, 2023, ANYCOLOR announced seven new female NIJISANJI Livers, including her, and the group started activity that day. On January 17, 2023, the new members were featured in a segment of THE TIME, a national news program on the Japan News Network.

Her debut stream was part of a relay held on January 19 and 20, 2023. She debuted in the unit Idios alongside Koshimizu Toru, Ishigami Nozomi, Sophia Valentine, Kuramochi Meruto, Kaburaki Roco, and Shishido Akari. Ishigami Nozomi suggested the unit name, which comes from the word "idiosyncrasy" and the Greek word "ídios." Her channel later passed several milestones, including becoming eligible for monetization and channel memberships.

In 2023 she was a coach in NIJISANJI Koshien, the agency's summer event built around the eBaseball Powerful Pro Baseball games. She led the Sei Azarashi Gakuin Kōkō team from July 1 to August 13, followed by an exhibition match on August 19. She did not coach in NIJISANJI Koshien 2025. Instead, she was named starting pitcher for Panpaka Panda High School, the team coached by Sasaki Saku. The team finished as runner-up, and her pitching was noted for its strong statistics.

Characteristics

Her official profile describes her as a gyaru whose main strength is being energetic. She has plenty of stamina and often goes for walks to look for something fun, and the streaks in her hair are natural. On stream she tends to talk constantly, especially in fast-paced games such as Mario Kart. Unlike talents such as Yamagami Karuta, whose talk can turn into odd figures of speech, she tends to blurt out reflexive reactions. Besides anime and video games, she enjoys watching baseball, an interest she got from her grandfather.

Her default model has medium-length, pale orange hair with a single bun on the right side, decorated with hairpins and a white bow, and light teal eyes. She has seven piercings in her right ear and one in her left. They include an earring with the ◇◆ motif that all Idios members share. Her original outfit features a light orange and black jacket covered in badges. Her second outfit has a cyberpunk theme, with a cropped white hoodie and mismatched fishnet stockings.
