Career

Ichikara Inc.'s first group of official NIJISANJI Virtual Livers became popular in early 2018. On February 22, 2018, the company opened a second round of auditions, and Mugi's design was one of the characters offered. She first appeared on YouTube on March 12, 2018. On March 15, Ichikara formally announced its second generation of Virtual Livers. Her fellow members included Mononobe Alice, Kenmochi Toya, Morinaka Kazaki, Fushimi Gaku, Gilzaren III, Suzuka Utako, Fumino Tamaki, Ushimi Ichigo and Yuuhi Riri.

At first, NIJISANJI grouped its talents by when they debuted and by contract type. From 2019 these divisions were dropped, and all members were placed under the single NIJISANJI Project brand. Mugi has stayed with the agency since then. Her channel description calls her a NIJISANJI member who originally came from the second generation.

Over the years she has received several official outfits with models, including casual, witch, Christmas, New Year, idol and school uniform designs. She also uses both 2D and 3D models. On episode 30 of the agency's variety program "NIJISANJI B Grade Variety (tentative)", she and Hayase Sou passed the Kombu Proficiency Test run by the Japan Kombu Association.
