Career

Cecilia Immergreen says she first found hololive through a widely shared 2019 clip of Natsuiro Matsuri. She then followed the English branch from its first generation and entered a remix competition held by Mori Calliope in 2020. She applied to hololive twice before she was accepted, after a multi-stage audition.

Her YouTube channel was created on April 3, 2024. She debuted in June 2024 as part of hololive English -Justice- with Elizabeth Rose Bloodflame, Gigi Murin and Raora Panthera. She played the violin during her debut stream and posted her first song cover the same day. Channel memberships opened on July 28, 2024. For her birthday stream in November 2024, she made and rigged a puppet model herself.

She celebrated her first anniversary in June 2025. Around the same time, she had her 3D debut and performed at the hololive English 3rd concert, "All for One." For her 3D showcase, she put together a small ensemble of hololive members who play instruments. On November 1, 2025, she added a new accessory to her main outfit: a green cape decorated with gold musical notes and Otomos. She later performed on both days of the hololive English 4th concert. In July 2026 she announced a break. Her manager later said the hiatus would be extended because of a family emergency and that she might return before the end of August 2026. After all of Cover's branches were merged into hololive in September 2026, her unit was renamed hololive -Justice-.

Activities

Streaming style

Her streams mix games, music and creative work. She speaks in a calm voice but describes herself as an extrovert, and members who have met her in person have said they were surprised by how outgoing she is. In group streams she often drives the conversation, for example by teasing other members or stating absurd claims as obvious facts. Her rants about things she dislikes are a running joke on her channel. During her streams of Half-Life 2, she carried the Gravity Gun ball through the Ravenholm chapter. She then modded the game so the ball looked like a clump of Otomos, which became known as "Balltomo."

Characteristics

In her backstory, Cecilia is an automaton built in ancient times for eternal servitude. Her design has doll-jointed limbs, green eyes and pale white-green hair. On her head she wears a brass ribbon with a clockwork key that spins when she gets excited. Her outfit is a gold-trimmed off-shoulder dress with a green skirt covered in musical notes and clockwork motifs. She sometimes carries a white lance that turns into a violin. She likes green jasmine tea, music and blue Himalayan poppies. She dislikes chores, coffee and cooking, as well as racing games and horror games. She has said she would like to write music for an indie game soundtrack someday. In the ENigmatic Recollection story, she belongs to the guild "Scarlet Wand" alongside Ceres Fauna, Gawr Gura, Shiori Novella and Nerissa Ravencroft. With Nanashi Mumei she forms the duo "Automatowl." Her character illustrator also designed Amayui Moka of VSPO!.
