Career

Yukishiro Mahiro's YouTube channel was created on April 22, 2019. Her Twitter (now X) account followed on April 29, 2019, and she posted her first tweet that same day. She made her YouTube debut as a NIJISANJI virtual liver on May 1, 2019. On May 9 of that year, she announced on Twitter that her channel had been approved for monetization.

Over the years she has received several new outfits. On November 15, 2019, she announced a new 2D costume and showed two new hairstyles on stream, one with cat ears and one with a ponytail. Her second 2D outfit, a school uniform, debuted the next day. On March 27, 2020, she announced a third costume. It debuted on April 1, 2020: an elegant dress decorated with blue roses, worn with a side ponytail also adorned with roses.

On September 3, 2020, the official NIJISANJI account announced that her Live2D model would be updated to a "2.0" version. The updated model debuted on September 4 and moved much more freely, including turning around, which her earlier model could hardly do. On the same day she announced a fourth 2D costume. Her later outfits include a military-style uniform and a white dress, which became her default appearance. She has also used a 3D model. She has stayed active with NIJISANJI and continues to stream regularly.

Activities

Streaming style

Her content covers free talk, gaming, singing, and ASMR. Casual chat streams are a staple, and some are simply open-ended talks that run until a set time, such as dinner. She also runs a recurring morning stream series that has passed 390 episodes. Her gaming streams include multi-part playthroughs of story-driven titles, which she labels with spoiler warnings. She also takes part in company-wide events: in 2026 she streamed practice sessions for the in-house NIJISANJI Yu-Gi-Oh! festival.

Besides YouTube, she has channels on bilibili, TwitCasting, and OpenREC. She has also released limited-time voice packs through NIJISANJI, including themed sets sold for fixed periods.

Characteristics

In her official lore, Mahiro is a high school student in the swimming club and the theater club. Her design has long light blue hair, blue eyes, and two blue roses as hair accessories. Her original outfit is a black-and-white lace dress with gloves and dark blue lace-up boots. Her X profile says she likes acting and talking. She uses the oshi mark of a globe and a sparkle emoji. Besides her main stream and fan-art tags, she uses tags for talk content and for her puppet-related content.
