Career

Yano Kuromu's YouTube channel was created on October 25, 2023. On November 21, 2023, VSPO! announced that she would join as its ninth solo member, after members such as Aizawa Ema. She debuted on YouTube on November 24, 2023. Her original X (Twitter) account was restricted shortly after her debut, so in early December 2023 she switched to a new account, which has served as her main account since then. Her YouTube channel passed 100,000 subscribers on December 4, 2023, about ten days after her debut.

On June 13, 2024, she formed the unit Hinemosu with her VSPO! colleagues Tsumugi Kokage and Sendo Yuuhi. In September 2024, VSPO! announced 3D debuts for all three members. On October 1, 2024, she debuted her 3D model in a relay stream with Tsumugi Kokage and Sendo Yuuhi. On November 24, 2025, the last day of VSPO!'s event "V Fes 2025" and her second debut anniversary, she performed in the event's live segment. Merchandise of her has been released through tie-ups with partners such as the amusement brand GiGO.

Activities

Streaming style

Like most VSPO! members, Yano Kuromu streams in Japanese and focuses on competitive gaming, especially FPS titles. Her streams also include drawing, free talk and watch parties for esports events. In her channel description, she lists FPS games, drawing, singing, cosmetics and nail art among her interests. During her debut stream, she asked viewers what her voice sounded like, and many described it as baby-like. That impression became a running joke with her audience.

She often collaborates with other VSPO! members. She has described Asumi Sena as a special senior, because Sena was the first VSPO! member she spoke with.

Characteristics

Her official introduction contrasts her childlike looks with a steady, dependable personality. It describes her as creative and interested in fashion and drawing, with the goal of becoming a stylish adult woman. Besides FPS games, she is described as good at drawing and cooking. Her personality type is listed as INTJ.

Her character design, by illustrator Kanzarin, has long pastel blue hair with two small side pigtails and blue-yellow gradient eyes. She also wears a heart-shaped eyepatch with a crossbones pattern. Kanzarin also designed Nui Sociere of NIJISANJI and several other VTubers. Kuromu describes herself as VSPO!'s member "in charge of bones." This skeleton theme carries over into her fan name, Honegumi (roughly "the bone squad"), and her skull-and-chain fan mark. She has received several outfits since her debut.
