On 13 December 2018, Ichikara Inc. announced that NIJISANJI Gamers and NIJISANJI SEEDs would be merged into NIJISANJI by the end of that month. As a result, Masaru became an official member of NIJISANJI. On 21 December 2018 he created a new YouTube channel and held his first stream there on 23 December. He moved because his original channel still had not been approved for monetization half a year after his debut.

Over the course of his career he has also introduced new outfits, updated his Live2D model and appeared in 3D.

Streaming style

Masaru streams in Japanese, mainly chatting and gaming. A large part of his recent output is binaural content recorded with a 3Dio microphone, including relaxation-themed streams such as shampoo and aroma oil massage roleplays aimed at helping listeners sleep. He also hosts binaural chatting streams, posts short-form videos and does seasonal streams with his home 3D setup, such as a Halloween photo session. He also takes part in NIJISANJI's seasonal voice pack releases.

He wonders whether he will one day grow up and his voice will change. He hates normalcy and ordinary life and tries to perfect his coolness on stream, but his attempts often fail, which is a central part of his character's humor. His design has short white hair with black streaks and light brown eyes. He wears a mostly grey jacket, dark shorts and a white shirt with purple patterns underneath. His X handle, Darkness_Eater, reflects his self-styled dark and cool persona.
