Career

Shirose Isumi debuted on YouTube on 19 September 2025 as one of four new NIJISANJI talents. The four formed the unit Splare with Sumeragi Reo, Hanakago Tsubasa and Shinomiya Yuno. VTuber news coverage at the time described the group as a new boy idol unit made up of high school students. His first stream was themed around his wish to live in a big castle, a motif that also appears in his name, his oshi mark and his community hashtags.

After debuting, Isumi took part in Splare's group activities and in wider NIJISANJI projects. The members of Splare later received matching second outfits, which they revealed in a relay stream, and Isumi was the third member to show his. Official merchandise featuring him has included plush toys released for Splare's half-year anniversary and an acrylic stand of him in a class jersey, made for NIJISANJI Fes 2026.

Streaming style

Isumi streams mainly in Japanese on his YouTube channel. His content is mostly free talk and gaming. Besides his solo streams, he appears in collaborations and group streams with the other Splare members, in keeping with the unit's idol concept. He uses separate hashtags for live streams, fan art, thumbnails and fan posts about him. The fan-art tag plays on the "shiro" (castle) part of his family name.

Characteristics

His official profile describes him as a first-year student at Stars Academy and the youngest member of Splare who loves cute things and sweets. His character has a slim, youthful build, short silver hair neatly parted, and light grey-pink eyes. His default outfit is a mint-green argyle knit vest over a white collared shirt, an oversized light-blue jacket with matching trousers, and white sneakers. His image colors are a pale lavender (#E5E2F6) and a light pink (#F7CFEA).

His character designer, DSmile, has also designed characters for other VTuber groups, including a talent from hololive English and members of VSPO! and StelLive.
