Career

Seshima Rui's YouTube channel was created on 22 September 2020, and her Twitter account was also set up that September. In early October 2020, 774 inc. presented her as a new AniMare member alongside Hira Hikari, and she posted her first tweet the same day. She debuted on 10 October 2020. The next day, 11 October, she released her first song cover, "Kimagure Romantic." Her channel passed its first milestone later that month.

On 11 December 2020, she announced on Twitter that she would receive a 3D model, first shown in an idol outfit instead of her standard costume. The 3D idol costume appeared on 19 December 2020 at the agency live event "774Fes Do It!" On 3 April 2021, she officially debuted her 3D model in her main costume on her own channel. On 4 May 2021, she revealed her second 2D costume, which gave her a new hairstyle with long twintails.

AniMare was later disbanded, and its members, along with those of the agency's other groups, were merged into a single 774 inc. roster. Seshima Rui stayed active as a member of 774 inc. after the merger. She has appeared in VTuber merchandise lines, including the "VTuber Chips 4" collaboration goods in 2022 and goods sets for the "Virtual YouTuber Life Like a Live!7" event in 2024.
