Career

Before joining NIJISANJI as a regular liver, Sakaki Ness trained at VIRTUAL TALENT ACADEMY (VTA), the agency's talent development program. His YouTube channel was created on June 27, 2023. In July 2023, VTA revealed the names and designs of the 16 students in its fourth batch, and he was one of them. He held his first stream as a VTA student on the academy's YouTube channel shortly afterward.

On March 12, 2024, NIJISANJI announced that Sakaki Ness would leave VTA and debut as a NIJISANJI liver. His X (formerly Twitter) account posted for the first time on the same day. He debuted on March 15, 2024, together with Kitami Yusei and Kaisei, as the unit 3SKM. The unit has its own official YouTube channel. Its premise is set in "Virtual Yokohama," a city where many cultures meet. In this setting, Kitami is a sorcerer, Kaisei is a locksmith and Sakaki is a butler, and each earns a living in his own way. The three met through a certain incident and now spend time together, each with his own goals.

He is also counted among Group 24th (Niyon Gumi), the NIJISANJI livers who debuted in 2024. For the unit's first anniversary, ANYCOLOR released merchandise featuring him, including a plush in its Nijinui series. Other 3SKM goods include acrylic stands and character cards.

Activities

Streaming style

Sakaki Ness streams on his own YouTube channel. His content mainly consists of free talk, gaming and singing. He also appears in collaborations with his 3SKM unitmates and other NIJISANJI livers. His character's backstory is that he serves a prominent family, has graceful manners that make him look like a member of the nobility, and can do anything perfectly when his master gives instructions. On stream, however, he is mostly hearty and eccentric rather than formal. In his debut stream, he described his "butler mode" as a rare form that he only shows to his master. His fondness for pachinko has become a recurring joke in his streams and community.

Characteristics

Sakaki Ness's design features short greyish-lavender hair that partly covers his left eye, a dark blue feather extension on the same side, and light teal eyes. Other livers have described him as outgoing and friendly. The contrast between his refined butler setting and his energetic, comedic streams is a defining part of his character. His fans are called "Nessie."
