Career

Saiki Ittetsu first worked as a trainee in the VIRTUAL TALENT ACADEMY. ANYCOLOR launched VTA in June 2021 as a training course for streaming and content production. Its classes cover planning, singing, dancing and acting. Admission is by audition, and ANYCOLOR pays the training costs. Graduates may be offered a debut in NIJISANJI or may move to other agencies. Ittetsu's VTA activities date from June 23, 2022. During that period his name was written with different characters.

His YouTube channel was created on November 16, 2022, and his X (formerly Twitter) account was set up in March 2023. His first post was on March 30, 2023. That same day, NIJISANJI announced Oriens, a new four-member unit of male talents. The unit began activities on March 30, 2023, and the members held their first streams afterward. Ittetsu was the last of the four to debut, with his first stream on April 2, 2023. His unit mates and fellow debut members are Akagi Wen, Usami Rito and Hibachi Mana. He has since been listed among NIJISANJI's spring 2023 debuts in official merchandise lines.

Activities

Streaming style

Saiki Ittetsu streams in Japanese. His channel description lists his main content as planned projects, games ranging from retro titles to indie releases, and free talk. Besides streaming, he makes his own meme-style short videos for YouTube and takes on small creative projects on stream. In one stream he tried to carve an imaginary girlfriend out of wood. He also does collaborations with other NIJISANJI members. At an offline barbecue collaboration with Akagi Wen and Murakumo Kagetsu at Wen's home, he wore a police-themed miniskirt costume. Unlike many VTubers, he does not use fan art in his video thumbnails.

Characteristics

According to his official profile, Ittetsu is a student who recently got a transformation device. He is still an inexperienced "Hero Apprentice," but the strength of his heart is said to be unrivaled. The profile adds, with self-deprecating humor, that this is where the tale of a pure hero begins, "probably." He has short black hair and dull purple eyes. His outfit is a two-toned white and reddish-purple shirt with a large safety pin and chains at the center.

He is described as having a quirky personality and a creative mind. He is also more openly emotional than most: he laughs, gets angry and gets scared easily, and throws himself fully into having fun. Common nicknames include "Tetsu" and "Tetchan." His listed blood type is O, and his zodiac sign is Sagittarius. His YouTube channel description is a humorous take on an old Japanese internet greeting meme and stresses that he is a "newcomer."
