Career
Before she debuted as a VTuber, Robocosan was a personal project of her designer, kuromaru9. The designer began showing her development in public on April 23, 2016. She debuted with COVER Corporation in March 2018. Sources disagree on the exact date and give either March 4 or March 9. Her introduction video has since been made private. At the time, Tokino Sora was the only other hololive VTuber. Like Sora, Robocosan made most of her gaming and music content on her own or with independent creators.
She debuted alone, before hololive started grouping its talents into generations. She is now placed in Generation 0 with the other solo debut members: Tokino Sora, Sakura Miko, Hoshimachi Suisei and AZKi. Because she was the second member to debut, she is widely respected within the agency and other members often call her "Roboco-senpai." She released her first song cover on May 3, 2018, and her first original song on April 28, 2019.
On January 12, 2019, she made her first appearance as a DJ at the Re:Animation 13 event. On January 24, 2020, she and the other hololive members up to the third generation showed their 3D idol outfits at hololive's first fes concert. She has since taken part in further hololive fes events and other live shows. She has also appeared as a collaboration character in the video games Dawn of the Breakers and Neptunia Virtual Stars, and she is one of the main characters in hololive's short anime series Holo no Graffiti.

She is known for disliking jump scares and horror games, even though she enjoys horror and gore films. Her official channels and agency profile also carry voice packs and ASMR releases. Her nicknames include "Roborobo," and her fans are called "Robosa."
