Career

Niito Wai debuted as an independent VTuber on July 2, 2022. Her main platform is the YouTube channel "Nito Ch.", and she also has accounts on Twitch and TwitCasting. She works without a corporate agency. Her short videos on YouTube brought her wider attention, and an overview of independent Japanese VTubers listed her among the most notable individual VTubers of 2023.

Her work later expanded into merchandise and outside collaborations. The figure maker A DIMENSION produced a 1/7 scale PVC figure of her in a school uniform, made under her supervision. She was also one of the VTubers who designed puzzles for "VTuber no Q" (Q with VTubers), a physics-based puzzle game from liica, Inc. The game is part of the Q REMASTERED series, which became popular among Japanese streamers in early 2023, and it was released on Steam on May 8, 2025. The game's store page names her among its featured creators. Merchandise of her has also appeared in online crane games, and she has played these on stream.

Activities

Streaming style

Her content is mainly gaming, free talk and ASMR, and all of it is in Japanese. Besides live streams, she posts gaming commentary and "try it out" style videos, and short-form videos make up a large part of her YouTube output. She uploads often, with new content roughly every one to two days. Her regular streams include karaoke, where she sometimes announces upcoming projects, and morning streams that join group relays run with other VTubers. She talks with viewers directly through game streams and chat-focused streams.
