Mirai Akari (Japanese: ミライアカリ) is a retired Japanese VTuber. She was produced by DUO Inc., later renamed ZIZAI Inc., and was affiliated first with the agency ENTUM and later with the music label GOOM STUDIO. She is best known as one of the "Four Heavenly Kings" of the early VTuber boom, and for her energetic personality and suggestive humor.

Career
Mirai Akari's YouTube channel was created on March 1, 2014. It first belonged to Eilene, an early virtual YouTuber. On October 24, 2017, the channel announced a name change for the Mirai Akari Project. A short introduction video came out on October 25, and her official debut video followed on October 27, 2017. She began posting on Niconico in December 2017. By the end of 2017 her channel was one of the most-subscribed VTuber channels. Fans grouped her with Kizuna AI, Kaguya Luna, Siro and Nojaloli as the leading VTubers of the period.
In March 2018 she collaborated with Yomemi, another member of the Eilene Family. Her official website opened on March 16, 2018, after her channel reached a subscriber milestone. On April 9, 2018, she announced that she had joined the VTuber agency ENTUM. Eilene left DUO Inc. and ENTUM in June 2018, which ended Eilene's role in shaping Akari's story and videos. Mirai Akari's channel was originally built around produced videos. Over time it moved toward gaming and chat streams that are typical of VTubers. Her videos opened with the catchphrase "Hello! In her original backstory, Akari was a time traveler sent from the future to the year 2017. She arrived with amnesia and started a YouTube channel to connect with people. The time-travel storyline was later set aside. Because of her amnesia she did not know her birthday, so Kizuna AI and Kaguya Luna gave her the date November 21 during a collaboration in 2018. She was described as extroverted and expressive, with big gestures and frequent double entendres. She calls herself the "Princess of Ego-Searching" because her hobby is searching for her own name online. Her design has long blond hair worn in a ponytail, blue eyes and a butterfly-shaped ribbon. Her original costume was later replaced with a more conservative, idol-style outfit. She had a well-known friendship with Siro, and the two made a running joke out of a "Black Panties Alliance."
