Career

Aogiri High School started in October 2018, when its first members began VTuber activities on YouTube. Before Kurikoma joined, the group had added Ishikari Akari in April 2019, Oshiro Mashiro in May 2020 and Yamaguro Nekuro in April 2021. Kurikoma was announced alongside Chiyoura Chiyomi as the group's newest members. Her character profile describes her as a first-year student at the school who wants to bring smiles and healing to viewers through creative daily activities. Her motto is "nothing beats hard work!", and the profile says she joined the school to pursue her dream of animating her own original work.

She held her first livestream on her YouTube channel on August 14, 2021, at 20:30, and regular uploads began in mid-August. Over time she became one of the agency's most prominent talents. Later sources describe her as a second-year student within the group's setting. According to the Virtual YouTuber Fandom wiki, she auditioned for hololive twice before joining Aogiri High School.

On October 2, 2026, the management of Aogiri High School announced through its official staff account on X that Kurikoma's activities were suspended effective immediately, with no date set for her return. Management said it made the decision after discussions with her. Because the matter involved details of her contract, management said it would not share further information. It also asked the public not to send questions about the matter to Kurikoma or to other members. Fellow member Otodama Tamako, who is close to Kurikoma, said publicly that the sudden news had left her confused and in need of time to process it. The announcement drew wide attention and was reported by several VTuber and gaming news outlets.
