Kson (pronounced keison) is an English and Japanese-language independent VTuber. She is an American-born, Japan-based bilingual streamer, cosplayer, and Vtuber who debuted on Nico Nico Douga in 2018 before migrating to Youtube. She joined VShojo in 2022, leaving the group in July 2025. A veteran of Japanese site Nico Nico Douga, she first streamed with a virtual avatar in 2018.

Kson has streamed numerous games including Mother Simulator, HITMAN 2, Beat Saber, Dead by Daylight, Outlast, ARK Survival, Bayonetta, PUBG, Resident Evil 4, and many others. Her favorite game of all time is the Yakuza series. She has long been a devout fan of the Like A Dragon series of games and has streamed most, if not every, game in the series, both as Kson and Coco, throughout her streaming career. She had long wanted to be involved with the games in some way, in fact, she had applied to become a hostess in one of the games for at least 6 years.

On 19 October, Kson began presenting a satirical Morning News Digest called GMMF (Good Morning My Fans). Parodying a news anchor, Kson presents news related to her, as well as calling other VTubers to make friends with them. She also reviews food and reacts to articles. She once attempted a make-up challenge, and also cosplays.

Because she speaks Japanese and has a mostly Japanese-speaking audience, Kson hosts weekly streams where she teaches her Japanese viewers "Southern English" and covers the language's pronunciation, dialects, and swear words. While teaching, she takes a strong and aggressive approach and often swears and acts belligerently.

Notable Achievements

On 10 November, Kson reached 1 million YouTube subscribers.
On 3 October, Kson celebrated 893,000 YouTube subscribers. This milestone is significant to Kson as the number 893 is goroawase (Japanese number code) for "yakuza."
Kson appeared as a hostess in Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name and appears as a bartender called Kei in Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii.
On 17 October at 00:00, she released her first original song "YOUR DREAMS NEVER END."

Characteristics

Among Japanese streamers, she is known for her "gap moe" appeal: she may look like a Yamato Nadeshiko, but she is a foul-mouthed Cosplay Otaku Genki Girl par excellence who streams both on webcam and with virtual avatars. The first part of her name is pronounced as "kei-son".

Her favorite food is pizza. Kson based her name on the character Ka-son from the sketch comedy television series MADtv, which is her favorite TV show.

Background and Lore

She is from Dunwoody, Georgia, a northern suburb of Atlanta incorporated as a city in 2008. According to her lore, Kson was originally an Ordinary High-School Student who saw some delinquents hanging out outside the local convenience store. Inspired by their independence and toughness, she founded her own delinquent gang in which they acted as vigilantes, giving beatings to those they feel deserve it, like cheating exes or deadbeat parents.

Technical Setup

While she used to use face-cams when streaming, she developed a VTuber model that resembled her real life appearance and occasionally uses it while streaming and collaborating with fellow VTubers. She sometimes holds streams where her VTuber model head is on her real body.
