Other members of his VTA batch include Shioriha Ruri and Kisara.

On 12 March 2024, NIJISANJI announced that he would leave VTA and debut as a NIJISANJI Liver. He joined the new all-male unit 3SKM with Kaisei and Sakaki Ness. His X (formerly Twitter) account was created in February 2024, and he posted for the first time on the day of the announcement. The agency promoted the unit with outdoor advertising at the Shibuya Tsutaya store near Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. The 3SKM members debuted one after another on 15 March 2024, and Yusei's debut stream began at 7:00 PM. The unit also launched its own YouTube channel and X account alongside the members' individual accounts.

After his debut, he continued to work with 3SKM. The unit released a song marking its six-month anniversary in September 2024 and another for its first anniversary. 3SKM merchandise has included a collaboration with the Yokohama Cosmo World amusement park and goods for the unit's second anniversary.
