Career

Kasumi Hibiki created her official X account in November 2025, ahead of her debut. Her profile lists her as a second-generation member of Lumipro and links to the agency's official account. She debuted on February 7, 2026. Before her debut she asked supporters to help get the event trending on social media on the day, and she started a YouTube playlist of her activities that she said would be updated over time.

After her debut she posted weekly schedules on X that centered on singing and music. These schedules included collaborations with other virtual performers. Her X profile also promoted a ticketed live event under the hashtag VackON, with viewing and ticket sales open until June 18. Her X display name was later changed to include the Japanese word for "graduation," which shows that she has ended her activities with Lumipro. Her X account remained public after the change.

Activities

Streaming style

Her work centers on music. In her schedule posts she invited viewers to "savor songs and music together" each week. She calls herself both a Vsinger and a VTuber, which reflects a mix of singing content and regular streams. Her weekly schedules also listed joint streams with other VTubers alongside her solo broadcasts.

Her X profile lists three hashtags: #霞翠ひびき (her name), #あまのジャック, and #おに図録. The profile does not say which tag is meant for streams, fan art or the fan community. The profile also credits two creators, Kanda Dan (@done_kanda) and Nokoyama (@nokoyama6), but it does not state their roles in her character design or model.

Characteristics

Her self-description combines a "downer" (low-key, subdued) personality with the trait of an amanojaku. In Japanese folklore, an amanojaku is a contrary imp, and the word is commonly used for a person who does the opposite of what is expected. The hashtag #あまのジャック is wordplay on this term. Her stated aim as a performer is to "light a lamp in the hearts of those who listen." Her X profile notes that direct messages are accepted only for business and activity-related matters.
