Career

Kanae was not interested in becoming a VTuber at first. He decided to audition for NIJISANJI after learning that a friend planned to do so. He did not pass the audition for the agency's second wave of members. NIJISANJI later contacted him again and offered him a place in either NIJISANJI SEEDS or NIJISANJI Gamers. He chose Gamers because that group would debut sooner. He became part of its first generation alongside Akabane Youko. According to one profile, he was strong enough at FPS games to be invited to join a PUBG team, but he chose NIJISANJI Gamers instead.

Kanae created his YouTube and Twitch channels on May 1, 2018, and posted his first tweet on May 2, 2018. His YouTube debut stream was held the same day and ran for about 9 hours and 5 minutes. It has been described as the longest debut stream in NIJISANJI's history. NIJISANJI Gamers was later dissolved, and he has continued his activities as a NIJISANJI member.

His 3D model was released in November 2019. On October 12, 2020, he announced that he had become an official supporter for Logitech G. In 2022 he began releasing music through the label Lantis. His first mini album, "flores", went on sale on June 20, 2022. In July 2022 he revealed a new outfit and hairstyle to mark his birthday and a channel milestone, and he released the original song "Hanataba no Yukue" at the same time.
