Career

Before she became a VTuber, Qpi worked as a staff member for the streamer and pro gamer Admin, and during that time she was known simply as "Q-chan." Her X (Twitter) account was created in February 2020 and her YouTube channel on March 5, 2020. Her channel had already gained a sizeable audience before her first stream.

She debuted on July 10, 2020 as a member of Busokanojo, a group of gamer VTubers. On September 21, 2020, it was announced that Busokanojo would be dissolved because of financial problems, and its remaining members became independent. While she was independent, she got to know VSPO! member Tachibana Hinano, who invited her to join the agency.

On January 9, 2021, VSPO! announced that Qpi had joined as a solo member. She was the first member who did not belong to a specific team, and Yakumo Beni later joined on the same basis. VSPO! has since accepted other transfers of existing VTubers, and Qpi was the first to bring her character over without "reincarnating." She marked the move with a new outfit. In 2023 she made her 3D debut in the agency's series of 3D debuts, sharing her showcase with Nekota Tsuna and Asumi Sena. Other members in the series included Kurumi Noah, Aizawa Ema and Ichinose Uruha. She held a talk and drinking stream on January 9, 2026 for her fifth anniversary with VSPO!

She also does chat streams, singing and collaborations. One of her earliest Apex Legends streams featured Natsuiro Matsuri of hololive, and she has played Fall Guys and Project Winter with Hinokuma Ran. Characteristics

Officially, Qpi is a tanned blonde gyaru chosen to succeed a certain god of thunder. Her surname refers to this: as the thunder god's successor she will eventually "become a god." The name "Qpi" comes from her earlier Apex Legends ID. Her design has long blonde hair, golden eyes, brown skin and many lightning-themed accessories. Her official introduction calls her a fearless, cheerful gyaru who is serious at heart and a little weak at reading kanji. It also says she wins players over with clever FPS play even though she secretly prefers brute-force tactics.

She is considered one of the smarter VSPO! members. She placed first in the first VSPO! academic test and second in the second, and she won the "VSPO! Quiz Royale." She is also known for helping colleagues with technical problems behind the scenes. Fans sometimes point out a babyish side when she drinks, which led to the nickname "Babu-chan." Her other nicknames include Q-chan and Qpi-tan.
