Career

Jururu joined Isegye Idol through an audition project run by Woowakgood in 2021. The project was part of his wider community of virtual and live-streaming content, which includes the "Waktaverse" ecosystem. The six members first appeared as virtual streamers who each ran their own channel. They then debuted as a music group in December 2021 with the single "RE:WIND". The song drew wide attention in the Korean online streaming community and helped bring virtual idol groups to a mainstream Korean audience.

After the debut, Jururu kept streaming on her own channel while taking part in the group's activities. These included later single releases, music videos, collaborative streams and live concert events. Over time Isegye Idol became one of the best-known virtual idol groups in South Korea, and its members became recognized individually as streamers. When Twitch ended its service in South Korea in 2024, the group's members, including Jururu, moved their regular broadcasts to other streaming platforms.

Activities

Streaming style

Jururu's streams mix conversation with viewers, video games and creative content. She is especially associated with drawing streams, where she sketches or paints illustrations live while chatting with her audience. She also appears often in collaborations with the other Isegye Idol members and with streamers from Woowakgood's wider community. These group streams range from games and variety projects to rehearsals and behind-the-scenes content for music releases. She also takes part in singing content, both alone and with the group.

Characteristics

Jururu's on-stream persona is generally described as gentle and playful. Her artistic side is a recurring part of her content, and her drawings appear on her streams and in fan community spaces. Within Isegye Idol, she is one of the six members who share singing duties and appear in the group's music videos and performances. Her solo channel, meanwhile, serves as a more casual space for everyday conversation, games and art. Like the other members, she is closely tied to the fan culture built around Woowakgood's content, where fan art, clip channels and community events play a large role.
