Henge Rime

Henge Rime (Japanese: 変幻リメ) is a Japanese female VTuber. She debuted in January 2025 as a trainee of the virtual idol agency Palette Project, and she has been managed directly by its parent company jig.jp since May 2026. She is known mainly for singing streams, which she supplements with gaming and chat broadcasts.

Career

Henge Rime's YouTube channel was created on 2 December 2024. Her channel name carried the label "Palette Project Trainee." Palette Project is often shortened to "PalePro." The agency split its members into two groups. The Regulars were full members who had become virtual idols. The Trainees, called kenkyuusei, were still training to become full members. On 30 December 2024, Palette Project announced that Henge Rime would debut as a Trainee. Her first stream took place on 4 January 2025.

During her time in the Trainee group, Palette Project went through changes in ownership. The agency moved to jig.jp and set up joint management with ENILIS Inc., its former parent company. Some trainees were promoted to Regular status during this period. On 10 April 2026, Palette Project announced that Henge Rime and Aizome Anela, its last two Trainee members, would leave the agency. The announcement said Henge Rime would move to a VTuber agency under jig.jp on 15 May 2026. On 14 May, Palette Project explained that jig.jp itself would manage her directly from the following day. On 15 May 2026, she left the Trainee group and came under jig.jp's direct management.

Streaming style

Her channel description says she focuses on singing streams (utawaku) and also streams games and casual chat. Her gaming content includes a first playthrough of Splatoon 3, released as a numbered series. She has also taken part in SURGE CITY, a multi-day collaborative role-play event that she covered in streams labeled by day. She later released a stream looking back on the earlier SURGE Town event, along with a viewing of footage from it.

She also does chat streams on popular online trends. One example is a stream built around a popular "cheating tendency" quiz sheet. She has done collaboration and sponsored streams as well. These include a collaboration based on the game PARADOX and a sponsored segment promoting the nutritional bread brand BASE BREAD. Her stream titles usually include her name or the hashtag #変幻リメ.

Characteristics

Henge Rime opens her streams and self-introductions with the greeting "Kon-Rime," which combines a standard greeting with her name. Her channel description says she wants to stand on a big stage together with her viewers. This goal matches the idol-training concept of Palette Project's Trainee program, under which she debuted.
