Career
Before his virtual debut, Gachiman V was already a game commentator whose main channel focuses on horror games. He started the Gachiman V channel in 2020 as a subchannel for VTuber activities. The channel lets him do things he does not do on his main channel, such as live streams of games outside the horror genre.
Soon after his debut, he joined collaborative events in the Japanese VTuber community. On 30 September 2020, he took part with other members of the team "AllGuys" in the "VTuber FallGuys Party!!" event, which was streamed live on Ponpoko's channel. The team finished third in the final rankings. On 27 March 2021, he joined a collaboration tournament with Kizuna AI and about 40 other VTubers, streamed on the Kizuna AI channel, and won the final round. On 22 July 2021, he and the other AllGuys members returned for the "Vtuber Fall Guys Sports Festival" under the new team name "Allhuman." The event was again streamed on Ponpoko's channel, and the team placed second.
His work has also reached outside streaming. He was part of the "VTuber Chips 3" release on 21 June 2021, where he appeared as a collectible card in three rarities: Normal, Rare and Super-Rare.
Activities
Streaming style
The Gachiman V channel adds to his main horror commentary channel rather than replacing it. As a VTuber he streams a wider range of games and takes part in group events with other virtual talents. Competitive party games such as Fall Guys have been a regular part of these collaborations. Across both channels, he is known for keeping his composure in tense or frightening game situations, which sets him apart from the louder reactions common in horror game streaming.
