Career

Fumi debuted as a NIJISANJI Liver on 19 October 2019. She joined in the same 2019 group as Hoshikawa Sara and Yamagami Karuta, and the three are known together as the unit "Orihimeboshi". Her official X account was created before her debut, and its earliest activity dates from August 2019.

After her debut, Fumi became known as a regular presence within NIJISANJI. She hosts a recurring news-style entertainment program called "NiZIP", which sums up recent events and announcements across the agency. Other NIJISANJI Livers often join the show as guests, so it also serves as a collaboration format and a place where viewers can catch up on agency news. She streams mainly on her YouTube channel and uses X for announcements and community activity. She also takes questions from viewers through an anonymous question box.

Activities

Streaming style

Her streams mix free talk, gaming, and singing. She is especially known for odd, low-key formats that contrast with her mature appearance. Examples include a stream where she counts the hairs on her head and one where she separates furikake rice seasoning into its individual ingredients. She likes science-fiction anime, especially the Gundam franchise, and often builds Gunpla (Gundam plastic models) on stream. Her news program "NiZIP" is another major part of her channel. It reflects her habit of keeping close track of what happens across NIJISANJI.

Characteristics

Fumi's character is a fox goddess enshrined at a Japanese shrine who has been a shut-in for about 50 years. Because of this, she sometimes uses outdated slang and old-fashioned mannerisms, which fit the idea of a deity out of touch with modern life. Her personality is described as mischievous and sassy. Her fox-goddess design looks mature and elegant, which contrasts with her offbeat sense of humor. Fans often call her "Fumi-sama", and her fanbase is known as "Fumi-min".
