Career

Ex Albio set up his YouTube channel in May 2019 and debuted on 21 May 2019 alongside Levi Elipha, with whom he forms the duo LvEx. The two were among the first NIJISANJI members to debut in Japan's Reiwa era. Earlier fantasy-themed NIJISANJI members from other worlds had mostly been demons, gods or other non-humans, so Ex Albio stood out as a human hero. His character notes stress that he is a "hero" and not a "brave" (yūsha) or a knight. His official description says he is searching for a way back to his own world but keeps getting distracted by video games.

On 9 February 2020 he debuted his second Live2D outfit, a set of casual clothes, and on 23 April 2020 he received a 2.0 update of his Live2D model. On 22 July 2020, during Maimoto Keisuke's 3D debut stream, NIJISANJI announced that Ex Albio and Kagami Hayato would receive official 3D models. His 3D debut stream took place on 8 August 2020. Later official outfits include a hoodie, a Chinese-style costume and a school uniform.

Activities

Streaming style

Most of his streams are gaming streams, and the titles change over time, including Minecraft, Identity V and Apex Legends. He usually announces the next stream at the end of the previous one or on X, and he sometimes asks viewers for game suggestions. His streams tend to be fairly long, especially before a day off. In his early Mario Kart 8 Deluxe streams he was known for playing very badly, but he later reached the semifinals of the second NIJISANJI Mario Kart Cup.

He has played in community gaming events such as Rainbow Six Siege R6 Royal Flush and the Autumn Minecraft Premium Stage. He also joined an in-house NIJISANJI VALORANT custom event organized by Lauren Iroas. On GTA role-play servers, including the VCR and Stoggra servers, he has played as a gang member, a police officer and an emergency medic. On the NIJISANJI GTA server he served as deputy chief of police under Lauren Iroas. In that role he became known for leading police operations, his skill as a helicopter pilot, and his help with server balance and supporting newer players.

Characteristics

His character design shows short blond hair, blue eyes and a suit of armor, with a large silver-and-blue sword on his back. His official profile lists his height as about 183 cm, and he is described as weighing 80 kg, 60 kg of which is armor. His listed special skill is dogeza, the deep kneeling bow used as an apology. Despite his fantasy look, the character cannot use magic and rarely uses his sword. Fan wiki profiles describe him as a fan of comedy and the mobile game Puzzle & Dragons. His stream greeting is "Kon" followed by a shrimp emoji, which matches his nickname Ebio. In fan works he is often paired with fellow NIJISANJI member Ars Almal as a fantasy-themed duo.
