Career

On 13 September 2020, NIJISANJI ID announced auditions for its fifth wave. On 11 November, it revealed the names of the new members and their debut times. Derem Kado's YouTube channel was created on 26 October 2020, and she held her first stream in mid-November 2020. Her wave-mates Reza Avanluna and Nagisa Arcinia debuted with her, and the three became known as the unit 53Renade.

On 7 March 2022, she released an original song called "Nekokati Abrakadabra." It was written in Indonesian and composed by Reza Avanluna. After the premiere, she showed an unwrapped version of her head model, revealing her orange right eye. ANYCOLOR later merged NIJISANJI ID into the main NIJISANJI organization. After the merger, she uploaded a new self-introduction video and continued as a member of NIJISANJI.

The three members of 53Renade had planned a music video called LASTRENADE, built from fan art submitted by viewers. The deadline for submissions was 24 August 2023. Derem said that health problems first forced her to pause work on the project. Reza Avanluna graduated in September 2023, and the video was never released. Derem later posted a statement about the cancelled project, asked people to direct their questions to ANYCOLOR, and announced an indefinite hiatus. According to Siliconera, her last stream before the announcement was on 30 July 2024, when she played Townscaper.

Her character is a magical girl from a magic academy in Maralemu, a magical world. She is searching for a magical cat to form a magical contract with. Her model has short, fluffy white hair and eyes of two different colors, one orange and one blue. Sources describe her personality as somewhere between a child and an adult: her voice sounds young, but she handles events maturely. She is described as a good listener who sometimes reads her fans' stories aloud with patience. She opens her streams with "Halo abrakadabra" and sometimes uses the cat-themed greeting "Meowning." Her emoji symbol is a wrapped gift (🎁), a pun on her surname: "kado" means "gift" in Indonesian.
