Career

Arurandeisu debuted on 8 September 2019 as the fifth member of the Holostars first generation. His fellow first-generation members were Hanasaki Miyabi, Kagami Kira, Kanade Izuru, Yakushiji Suzaku and Rikka. In his debut stream he introduced himself and talked about his interests. In 2020 he revealed new outfits, including a White Day outfit in March and a summer outfit in August. On his first debut anniversary, 8 September 2020, he released his first cover song.

Over the following years he streamed mainly on YouTube in Japanese. He also kept channels on Twitch, Bilibili and TwitCasting. In 2026, after Cover Corporation reportedly decided to scale back support for Holostars in Japan, he announced his graduation from the agency. He held his final stream in June 2026. It was a casual chat stream promoted with the hashtag "Saraba Arurandeisu" ("Farewell, Arurandeisu"), and fellow VTubers sent him messages of support. In that stream he said he had not originally planned to end his career. He described the decision as his own choice and said he had not been forced into it, while leaving the circumstances behind it undisclosed.

Activities

Streaming style

His content was mostly free-talk and gaming streams. He also did ASMR that usually centered on airsoft guns and his enthusiasm for them, including gun maintenance streams. He hosted streams for learning English, some of them held entirely in English, which often featured members of hololive Indonesia. He also ran educational streams that explained topics such as immunization and Japanese internet slang. His other streams included talk-show formats, basic Blender tutorials, DJ sets and GTA roleplay. He collaborated widely with VTubers and streamers outside hololive. Commentators have noted that women in hololive rarely collaborate with Holostars members. He was also known for editing his own videos and highlight clips.

Characteristics

His official profile describes him as a mysterious Italian man who claims to have lived many lives: a detective, a cat burglar, a teacher, a samurai and even a sniper. The profile says he now aspires to become an idol for Holostars. It also says he has a poor sense of direction and gets lost often, that he becomes deeply invested in the stories of the games he plays, and that he likes pizza, meat and cola. His streaming room was decorated with guns, a convertible and a pizza drawn in chalk on the wall, which led to nicknames such as "pizza papa." He opened streams with "Ciao!" and closed them with "Otsurandeisu." His character designer, Lack, also designed Shiranui Flare and Makaino Ririmu. As a result, he was sometimes linked with other VTubers drawn by the same illustrator.
