Career
Amane was diagnosed with Ménière's disease in 2017. It left her deaf in one ear and kept her from joining traditional idol groups. She was already interested in VTubers, so she applied for Hololive's fourth generation and was accepted. Hololive announced holoForce on 25 December 2019. She debuted on 27 December, the first of her generation to do so. She used Microsoft PowerPoint heavily during her debut stream, and her fans began calling her "PP Tenshi" as a result. Her 3D debut took place on 5 July 2020.
She wrote and composed the holoForce song "Kiseki Knot", released in June 2021. Her solo debut single, "Tokusya-Seizon Wonder-la-der!!", followed on 19 August 2021 and was written by Tomoya Tabuchi. Starting with her second anniversary, she held online 3D concerts that came with new singles, including "Tenshi no Agape", "Chūku no Niwa" and "Betsu Sekai". In May 2022 she and Tokoyami Towa formed the music unit Orio. In 2023 she joined Blue Journey, a music project run by Hololive and EMI Records Japan.
Her first album, Unknown Diva, came out on 13 March 2024. It debuted at number six on the Oricon Albums Chart. In 2025 she announced a second album, Trigger, along with her only solo live performance, Lock On, held at Ariake Arena. On 29 June 2025 she ended a stream early because she needed urgent hospital treatment. On 2 December 2025 she announced that she would graduate and leave the entertainment industry entirely, citing work-related stress. Her final activities took place on 27 December 2025, the sixth anniversary of her debut.
