Career

Saeki Yahiro began her activities as a virtual YouTuber on June 3, 2018. From the start she has worked as an independent creator with no agency. Her official X profile calls her a self-incarnated independent VTuber (セルフ受肉個人勢), meaning that she made the visual design and the 3D model of her avatar herself.

She has also released music under the artist name "yahiro saeki" through the distribution service TuneCore Japan. Her first single, "Tanoshii!", came out in 2018, the year she debuted. "HONEKKO PARADE" followed in 2021 and "Moon couture" in 2023. "Moon couture" was released on August 16, 2023, which is also her character's birthday. Her artist profile introduces her as a virtual elementary school student who is a VTuber, an illustrator and a 3D modeler, and who has now started singing as well.

In December 2025 she announced her first solo art exhibition. The show was scheduled for three days, December 26 to 28, 2025, at Gallery WEST of DESIGN FESTA GALLERY HARAJUKU in Tokyo. It was announced as featuring a large number of newly drawn illustrations and three-dimensional works.

Activities

Streaming style

Her channel combines VTuber streams and videos with her work as a creator. Her official X profile describes her as a VTuber who is also an illustrator and 3D modeler, and says she puts effort into costume design. Her avatar's outfits are therefore part of her own creative work. She posts under the hashtags #さえきやひろ and #やひろかいたぞ, and her profile directs readers to her official website for a record of her past commissioned work.

Characteristics

Her character is set as a virtual elementary school student, with a birthday of August 16 and a height of 138 cm. Her display name on X includes a skull emoji, and the skull motif also appears in the title of her single "HONEKKO PARADE" (honekko roughly means "little bones"). She is an example of a VTuber who works across several roles: she illustrates, models in 3D, designs costumes, performs and releases music, and she builds and develops her own virtual appearance rather than having it made by others.
